

This is the third installment of my series on building Rick and Karen Pollack’s MakerGear Mosaic 3D printer. This part covers assembly of the robot’s “X-axis” linear actuator system, and has proven to be the easiest part of the build so far: the linear rail, idler pulley shaft, rail stops, and stepper motor are simply bolted onto the plywood frame. Easy!
